Strip Brush

High-density Strip Brush / Channel Brush for sealing, guiding, wiping and dust control. Supplied in aluminum holders, or bolt-on / welded steel bars. Common on labeling machines, linear guide rails, conveyors and woodworking/furniture lines.

Product Details

What is a Strip Brush?

A strip brush (also called channel brush, brush strip, or brush seal) is a compact, high-density brush built in a straight profile for continuous contact along an edge or surface. It is widely used in industry for sealing gaps, guiding parts, wiping, dust control, and surface protection.

Where Strip Brushes are Used (factory-relevant use cases)

Labeling machines: brushes apply consistent pressure to smooth and fix labels during application.
Linear guiding systems / rail guiding systems: used as simple “brush wipers” to reduce dust ingress and keep rails/ways cleaner in dusty production areas.
Furniture / woodworking lines: dust control and sealing around machine openings, covers, and guiding zones.
Conveyors and handling: wiping, guiding, stabilizing parts, and reducing carryback or dust.
Sealing & protection: sealing gaps against dust, mist, and debris around doors, machine panels, and enclosures.

Mounting Options

We supply strip brushes configured for real industrial installation:

Slide-in aluminum holders / channels for fast replacement and clean alignment
Bolt-on bars (pre-drilled if needed)
Welded steel bar assemblies for permanent heavy-duty installations

Density, Trim Height, and Filament Options

Strip brush performance is mainly driven by density and trim height:

• Higher density = stronger sealing/wiping and better dust control
• Trim height controls contact pressure and compliance over uneven surfaces
Filament choices depend on duty:
Nylon / PBT / PP for general industrial wiping and sealing
Abrasive nylon for stronger scrubbing/contact zones
Wire options for harsher environments (application-dependent)

How to Specify

Send any of the following and we’ll propose the right build:

Overall length
• Holder type: aluminum channel, bolt-on, or welded bar
Trim height (bristle height)
• Filament material and stiffness (or describe the problem: dust sealing, guiding, label smoothing)
• Environment: wet/dry, chemicals, temperature, debris type
• Photo/drawing/sample (best)
